A hit!
We ordered these so the kids could have something healthy to eat on the way to school in the morning (why they won’t eat breakfast at the table 5 minutes before getting in the car is beyond me). The great thing is, they not only taste good so the kids will eat them, but they’re good for them AND they don’t make a huge mess in the back of the car! One caveat, don’t leave one in the car during the day and expect it to not make a mess in the afternoon…there is a drizzle of icing across the top and that does get messy when hot.

Great Flavor, a bit messy
Filling, delicious, and packs in some nutrition too. This review is for the Toffee Choc Chip ones. Love the bar, but they can be a bit messy. The little chocolate chips fall off the bars very easily. Watch out if you’re trying to use this as breakfast on-the-go on your way to work. You might end up with some unwanted chocolate spots!

Family Favorite
The whole family likes these, but the reason I’m such a big fan is that my son likes them. I have an 8 year old who is a really fussy eater. He loves these, and they’re so good for them. I also like that I can stick them in my purse and they aren’t too delicate–they’ll last in there until we’re stuck somewhere and my child is starving. The double chocolate crisp is our favorite flavor.

Great tasting!
I gave them 4 stars because there is too much sugar. I got a coupon to buy 2 bars and get one free. I am glad I tried them. I just found them on here and it is cheaper than my local grocery store and the shipping is free. I used them as meal replacement. I am one of those people who hate to eat breakfast or eat when I first get up.

harvesty delight
This is my favorite flavor. It’s chewy (not dry) and pretty filling. A good lunch substitute on really busy work days… or a great snack for a normal person.

Good product but why has the price doubled?
Last few times I ordered these they were $14.59 a box (15 bars).

Now the price is $35.05 a box (still 15 bars)?!?

I can (and will) buy them locally for that.

My 3 year old daughter really didn’t think they were great but my wife and I did so we ate them all.

I’m kind of uncomfortable giving my three year old chemical-laden granola bars, so I was excited when I found Z Bars. She loves them (especially the chocolate brownie) but we just tried the smores and she really likes those, too. If your kid has a sweet tooth and you don’t want them to consume “gross” high fructose corn syrup but don’t want to deprive them, either…try these!

Regular Cliff bars are wayyy better
Kids really dont like these. They have like a gross vitamin type aftertaste and its disgusting. We got these at our after school program because it is a healthy alternative snack and I like cliff bars to begin with but these are nothing like them. Gross

New Slim Fast Optima Hurts my Stomach
I have been drinking Slim Fast ready to drink shakes for several years. They have been great for managing my weight. I normally drink the Slim Fast Optima in Milk Chocolate flavor for my lunch. I normally enjoy it and look forward to it. However, about a month ago, I noticed that the box looked different. I thought it was just a change in the box. Then, I tasted it and it was a little bit different. At first I didn’t like it but I got used to it. Well, I started having terrible excruciating pains in my stomach every day. The first week I thought it was just a bug. It kept on for another three weeks and I tried everything. I was cutting out some herbs that I’d been taking but no luck. Then, last night I was going to the gym to work out. I felt tired and decided to drink a shake for a little extra energy. Fifteen minutes later, my stomach was killing me. It hurt so bad that my back felt like it was hurting too. That’s when I realized it has to be the new Slim Fast Optima. I’m sad about having to quit it but I can’t stand that kind of pain. I may try the meal bars instead but I wish Slim Fast would go back to the old formula.

Overpriced!!
This page selling SlimFast is linked from their corporate web site. I expected to find prices that were competitive with my local Walmart. The price per can at my Walmart is $0.75 a can. The price in this site is $1.56 a can!!! What a rip off! I was actually going to order from this site until I got an old receipt out from my wallet and did the math. Ill stick to buying them at the store for now until the prices come down online.

Convenient and filling!
These are so easy to grab and go in the morning. And they actually do fill me up, much better than the old style Slim Fast shakes ever did. I am one of those people who is usually ravenous all day, but I can drink one of these around 8 am and go without snacking until 2 or 2:30 pm when I grab lunch. I have been drinking them to replace my breakfast for about 4 months and have not lost any weight, however. I think I am eating a lot more in the evenings to compensate for the early day “fasting”. But they are still convenient and they are a great source of vitamins for the price, so I will continue to drink them for breakfast during the week.

Creamy and Delicious
This is my protein drink of choice - creamy and vanilla-y. Sometimes, I think I detect an ‘oaty’ taste, which is not bad at all. The Amazon price for these large-sized portions is very good. Mainly, I order from Amazon, though, because it’s not easy to find the product always on the supermarket shelf!

Great for growing teenagers
My teenage sons love this stuff. They play tons of sports and need nurishment before or after practice before running off to other activities. My boys are thin, so the calories are not a concern for them, but kids (or adults) watching their weight should be aware of the relatively high calorie count.

These bloks are great out on a ride for that extra boost of energy, but seek out the new packaging - they now come in a long tube shaped package, which would be easier to eat from, rather than fishing through the little bag to get them out.

Cliff Shots Yum
Either this was a fresher batch than what I had been purchasing locally or they were made a bit softer. Love these on long bike rides. One will easily last over 10 minutes and keep your mouth from crusting over. Prefer the black cherry and strawberry. Cola is for those of y’all that like the taste a cheap flat cola left out overnight.

Good for Biking, Hiking, and other outdoor activities
I cycle endurance rides. Clif Shot bloks have become my fuel of choice during the rides. A half a pack every 20 miles keeps me going strong at 18-22 mph. A friend introduced them to me a little over a year ago, and I have been making do with the strawberry flavor as Amazon didn’t carry the Pina Colada. When I came across them today. I ordered a case. The only downside is that the Pina Colada flavor is not available for the subscribe and save program yet.

To describe these, imagine Pina Colada flavored gummy bears. Awesome flavor, with awesome nutrient/fuel capabilities. In comparison, I haven’t found one “Gu” or gel that I can remotely stomach. Theses are just Sooooo much better!

Not very tasty, but good protein content
I wanted some extra protein for my workouts. Saw these on a gold box special at a great price and I bought them. I really don’t like the taste, compared to other high protein bars I have tried, but they had great nutritional benefits. I would not buy these again though, due to the taste for me.

Tastes great and gives energy
I am a runner and discovered this in a grocery store when I was at the four mile mark of a ten mile run and stopped for some water. This tastes great, and gives me plenty of energy when I run or work out in the gym. I also keep this at work for a snack.

HORRIBLE TASE TOO SWEET
I usally dont care about taste that much but oh my god this thing is SO FREAKIN SWEET that it makes me nauseous and it only has 23g protein. I returned them

Great Tasting PowerBar
The powerbar has become a staple in our house. Cookies and Cream along with Chocolate Crisp are our favorites. Our 2 boys grab these as a snack rather than a pop tart and as a quick breakfast. They eat powerbars before a work out then eat a regular meal afterwords. They love the taste!

Protein Bar Taste
I am not a huge fan of the protein bar simply because of the flavor, but this one (PowerBar Vanilla Yogurt) is actually really good.
